New tournament come new year
Posted by Kappa on Wednesday, December 26 @ 12:14 AM
A new year is upon us, and so is the new Futsal League for Working Lady tournament, this time called "Jonathan's Stage" (yet another restaurant owned by Skylark. Product placement? What? Who told you that? We know nothing!).

It will take place in Tokyo Big Sight, on the 20th of January. The tickets go on sale from Jan. 6, though, and they cost from ¥3000 to ¥4000, available on Pia and Lawson's. For telephonic numbers and more information, go here.

The participating teams this time are, of course, our beloved Gatas, plus a couple of old friends (Shiseido's Emulsions, Adidas' adi-UNIT5, JAL's Samurai Crew) and two newcomers: Kinki Nihon Tourist's knt! Surprise and Morinaga's FC Weider. We expect to see a great performance by Gatas!

Happy holidays everybody!

Gatas to go to Hawaii in 2008
Posted by Kappa on Monday, December 17 @ 12:49 PM
It has been confirmed that Gatas Brilhantes H.P. is scheduled to make a fanclub tour in Hawaii. They will be touring in March 2008, with all the activities that always stem from fanclub tours, such as talk show events, fanclub-only concerts, and if we take the last fanclub tour as a basis, even games with native Hawaian teams. More to come closer to the fanclub tour date.

New VJF, same old tired webmaster
Posted by Kappa on Thursday, November 22 @ 11:50 PM
I'm sure that if you're checking in for the first time in a while you will have noticed things have changed, and they certainly have!

In the first place, the Cerbies section has gone altogether. I'm very sorry to everybody who had an interest in their team, but I barely have enough time to keep the Gatas section updated as it is, nevermind Cerbies. In any case, I extend an invitation to all those who would want to keep an eye on them to visit Cerbies.net, Cerbies Paradise and Soreyuke! Cerbies regularly. The Cerbies subforum at the VJF forums still remains, so if you want for me to (poorly) translate any notes of interest, make sure to post it there.

The schedule has also dissapeared. With the renewal of our news page, there is no need to keep that, as all announcements will be made here. The Players section is pending a huge make over, as I believe it looks very cluttered (and no doubt a lot of people think so too) but it needs a good chunk of my time to be remade.

Finally, some much needed navigation aides have been added to the Club's History section. However, I'm still working on updating the six or so months I have been absent, so please be patient.

Much thanks to those still frequenting the website. I know I have been away, and it looks like I haven't cared much after VJF, but I promise you, great projects have been put in motion. Please keep visiting VJF!
